Campus Shuttle

The Department of Public Safety runs a campus shuttle with two routes-an internal campus loop and an external loop. CUA ID is required to ride the shuttle. The schedules are avilable on the Department of Public Safety's website.

 

Commuter Rail

The MARC Train (Maryland Rail Commuter)VRE (Virginia Railway Express) and Amtrak trains stop at Union Station, which is also Metrorail (Red Line) and Metrobus accessible using WMATA.

 

Public Transportation

The Metro (Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority) operates a regional rail and bus system. CUA is located at the Brookland/CUA Station on the Red Line of the metrorail system.

 

Zipcar

The CUA Procurement Services office has a partnership with Zipcar, a car-sharing service that provides self-serve access to several varieties of cars. With Zipcars parked on campus and in other dedicated parking locations throughout Washington, DC, members can reserve cars online or by phone and use their personal access card to enter and drive them. Gas, insurance, maintenance, and dedicated parking are all included in Zipcar's hourly and daily rates. Personal memberships are available to CUA students, alumni, faculty and staff.
